CMA restarts mobile browsers and cloud gaming market investigation

Following a ruling by the UK Court of Appeal, which overturned a previous ruling from the Competition Appeal Tribunal, the CMA has today restarted its formal investigation into the supply of mobile browsers and mobile browser engines, and the distribution of cloud gaming services through app stores on mobile devices (referred to as ‘mobile browsers and cloud gaming’). DT Economics partner, David Thomas, joins the Phase 2 panel for this market investigation.
